“Is there anything I can do to feel better during the cold, dark months?”

In the dark winter months our bodies will “slow down” and hibernate. We look to cuddle up with warm things and look for internal comfort. The season has forced us to look to look into ourselves and if we are unable to do that on our own depression will take over. These are unresolved issues of the past, becoming proactive with yourself will soon empower ones self to be able to make your self happy. Hiding and ignoring past issues cannot be hidden. There are ways to step out and step up. An area to empower ones self is to remind yourself, “What do you have power over and what can you control?” One can only change their own mind, looking to change others is futile.
